Why can't I install Jedi Survivor without getting an error message?

Whenever I try to download Jedi Survivor it gives me the download screen where you change the installation path, i have to change the path to my D drive so i have enough space. I change the path, I click download, then it  starts preparing for the download. Only when it reaches 69% of preparing, it gives me a pop-up that says "Something went haywire an unknown error has occurred. Restart the EA app and try again, or reach out to our support team to help." I restarted the app then tried again, it didn't work. I cleared the app cache through your app recovery thing and tried to download the game again, still didn't work. Then i started searching on google, I tried everything nothing worked. The only thing google said that i didn't try was using  my C drive instead of my D drive, but I don't have enough space on my C drive to do so. I wanted to reach out to EA's answer hub before moving lots of stuff from my C to D drive which would take lots of time. Please try and resolve this whenever you can. Thank you.
