Serverprobleme

Wie viele andere Spieler von The Old Republic habe ich immer wieder eine schlechte Serververbindung, mit einer Verzögerung bis zu 500ms und Verbindungsabbrüchen.

Der Fehler lässt sich auf Server in Irland eingrenzen "ae-1-8.bar1.Dublin1.Level3.net", auf deren Betreiber wir als zahlende Kunden keinerlei Einfluß haben.

Da diese Probleme viele Kunden betreffen sehe ich hier EA in der Pficht dafür zu sorgen das der Kunde die bezahlte Leistung auch bekommt.

Mit anderen Worten, EA sollte da jemanden auf die Füße treten, und zwar kräftig. Das Problem besteht seit Monaten, und langsam ist es an der Zeit das es abgestellt wird.

    Hallo,

    ich bins mal wieder... Ich wollte mal updaten... es ging jetzt vllt 2-3 tage mal so, dass mein ping ohne probleme immer bei 68ms war... seit Mittwoch steig mein ping aber gern auch mal wieder auf die 200k+ marke.... meist flieg ich auch vom server, ohne dass ich einen ping problem habe (konstante 68ms)... mir fiel auf, dass ich sie vorhin immer bekommen hab, kurz bevor mein pvp invite kam, aber ich hab die ping probs auch ohne gelistet zu sein fürs pvp... meine traceroutes sind immer gleich, kein anzeichen auf irgendwas... fuckt so nen bisschen ab, weil dass einfach mein spielerlebnis doch stark reduziert (btw ich spiel auf grund von kack engine und möglichen rucklern beim pvp eh auf low in den graphic settings fast überall)

    Wenn du deine Grafik auf Low stellen must, liegt das mit Sicherheit nicht an der Engine (Zugegeben ist nicht die Neuste und Beste).

    Geb doch mal ein paar Hardware-Eckdaten an, einschl. OS.

    Wenn du deine Grafik auf Low stellen must, liegt das mit Sicherheit nicht an der Engine (Zugegeben ist nicht die Neuste und Beste).

    Is mir einfach das angenehmste im pvp... vermeidet ruckler auf jedenfall usw.

    und ich glaube nicht, dass mit meinem system irgendwas falsch ist, dass diese ping probleme bei den servern von swtor hervorrufen. eben gerade wollt ich ganz entspannt mit nem kumpel zocken... haben so gegen 8 angefangen und ab 21:00 konstant üing drops bis 30k gehabt und dcs. fp konnt ich noch ohne dc zu ende spielen (aber mit rotem kreuz in der ecke) dann im pvp, sowie flotte oder dromund kaas nur disconnected. neustart des rechners hat keine besserung eingebracht! empfang konstante 145mbits, kann alles öffnen und laden im internet, aber die verbindung zu den servern ist miserabel. tracert hat nix ergeben, da der ping da maximal bei 78ms war... ich fühl mich langsam verarscht, weil ich keinerlei ahnung habe voran es liegt und es meinen spielspaß enorm einschränkt und ich nix feststellen kann.

    Das problem besteht selbst noch mit Neuinstallatiion ohne den Bitraider client (Streamingdienst)...

    Langsam werd ich als zahlender Kunde so richtig verarscht... Ich kann es mir nicht erklären,w arum der Ping einfach da ist, mein Internet usw geht alles, empfange genug MBits um alles zu machen außer SWTOR vernünftig zu spielen...

    Wie du so schön in deinem Ping gehighlightet hast, sind es Knotenpunkte die zum Server führen(Telefonica und Level 3) , welche deinen Datenverlust und damit zu deinen Serverproblemem führen. Diese Knotenpunkte werden nicht von Bioware/EA betrieben und hängen damit zusammen bei welchen ISP du bist, da diese damit routen. Von daher kann SWTOR nicht sonderlich viel machen und da hilft es auch nut bedingt den Launcher zu "wechseln".

    Soweit ich weiß stimmt das, jedoch hatte ich ganz am anfang nen pathping hochgeladen, wo ich nen 90% verlust hatte und da kam keine reaktion darauf... Das erscheint mir dsnn aber doch so wie:

    sieh selber zu, dass du verstehst wie dein ping erscheint...

    naja, gibts ne möglichkeit das zu beheben? Wtfast greift bei mir nämlich zT auch auf die zu und dann verreckt das spiel genauso...
