My hardware is all up to date and all drivers are fully updated.

try using ddu first up https://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3786  , this will bring the system back to vanilla os install state , then re-install the nvidia driver and see if it ok

I tried it but it didn't have any effect.

remove all resolutions except your native resolution

Plugging a different monitor should prove it is the edid being misread

I will try. I just went into Nvidia control panel and found out how to get SDR to display resolutions higher than my native which than shows in settings so i uninstalled and reinstalled swotr to see if it will detect the highest resolution first. Also my native resolution is 1360x768 according to the control panel

laptop or tv ? usually tvs are shit for edid being correct

That will be the issue , swtor reads the edid from the monitor , tvs are usually bad with edid data 

cru may help otherwise just plugging a computer monitor in will fix the issue

What do I need to change with CRU? I am stuck in a barracks room in japan so I dont have enough room for an actual monitor.
