I'm sorry that happened. Unfortunately as you said Origin only sells the game itself for those that do not have accounts. For game time you would either need to go to swtor.com and subscribe to a recurring plan, purchase a 60 day time card or purchase a 60 day time card from a retailer like amazon, walmart, etc.
In order to request a refund you would need to call Customer Service for Origin to see if they can get you a refund. Their contact number is:
