Accidentally Deleted Companion Gear...

I clicked the button to retrieve my companions gear in the top right corner of the companion and contacts window to see what it did. The companion was wearing his original gear. After clicking it, all of the companion's original gear was dumped in my inventory. I thought these were copies of my companions actual gear (like stuff in the collections window) so I deleted each piece. Now when I summon him he has no clothing. There is no option now to retrieve character gear. Is there any way to get it back?
