Unable to Link Existing SWTOR Account to Steam

Question

Hello, I am having an issue linking my existing SWTOR account to Steam. I installed SWTOR via Steam, but when I launch the game there is no "Connect with Steam" button in the launcher.

When I try to log in with my SWTOR credentials and 2FA code, the launcher says I must launch the game through the Steam account I usually use.

I already deleted old SWTOR files, reinstalled via Steam, and made sure to launch only from Steam, but the button still doesn’t appear.

It seems my Steam account might have been linked to a wrong or empty SWTOR account. I need help with a Steam unlink so I can connect my correct SWTOR account.

playing via steam is what creates the linkage

Only one steam account can be connected to one swtor account already, or one swtor account can be only connected to one steam account

that message arises when the swtor or steam account are already linked with another account.

Best to call swtor support and see if they can help identify the issue if you are unsure how this occured

"Best to&nbsp;call swtor support.." I've been reading this for days to solve a similar problem, but these numbers are not reachable. There is no “real” working solution for subscription, purchase, or linking problems anywhere. Neither here in the forum nor officially from EA.&nbsp;
