Swap to an email address not associated with any EA account and see if that solves the validation issue.
Sometimes the emails can be delayed or removed as spam so worth checking that as well but if it has been more then 24 hours , change the email address used.
I did not know you could input another email address for validation. I thought it is mandatory to use account registration email. I'll try that and be back with an update. Thx for the reply
