AMD Issues
I have issues with the game that some objets disapperd and som minor map issues i use AMD crismon 16.3.1 and msi r9 380 card. i hope you guys can fix it soon and the loading bar is wierd to.
Ok maybe not what i was thinking of
close the game and launcher , right mouse click on the game shortcut and select open file location
go into the swtor folder there and delete only the file called diskcachearena (do not delete the swtor folder)
start the launcher
same issues. that didnt help at all. look a lvl bar and at the map is a smal bar over the text.
Try deleting the bitraider folder again , i'm inclined to think this is a game file issue at present
didnt help at all
yes same. you wanna have pc spce?
Will ask that person for their hardware and drivers and see if can find similarities, will also get this flagged with the studio for awareness.
they only just posted in the last day as well , 2 is a bit of a coincidence
have you tried an older AMD driver just to be certain ?
havve didnt have this problem with the old amd ccc at all just when crimson was relese the issues begins
http://hastebin.com/uraremayoz.tex you mean this
So if you go back to pre crimson the issue is gone , and no version of crimson is ok ?
just want to be 100% certain
was same issues with the later driver to
So same issue with pre crimson ?
sorry just looking at the dxdiag and the ogg vorbis codec crash present
yeah dxdig krach all the time
My take on this is Indications are to go back to skype version no newer then 6.14 and then rename /system32/vorbis.acm to vorbis1.acm which just keeps it there if really needed later, seems skype versions newer then 6.14 installed the vorbis.acm file and is conflicting with the AMD drivers
Any relevance to the ingame issue I do not know at present.
ok so i on my side then.
Dxdiag/ solitaire crashes etc are caused by the vorbis file for those it is as mentioned below
ingame issue for swtor , difficult to say at present
im in talk with microsoft support now so he say something with the os.
If this is confined to Windows 10, Potentially a windows patch maybe able to resolve the conflict
yeah.
If i come across anything further with what your seeing in swtor I will flag you and let you know
This might sound unusual , but can you manually turn up the video cards fan speed using AMD Overdrive and see if it persists, this may possibly be heat caused.
