In swtor i keep seeing black line surrounding objects i messed around with every setting and no results is there any way to fix this issue?
You may need to uninstall the current driver first as it is the latest generic amd driver
the dell page has this for steps
Download
1. Click Download File to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Installation
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file.
2. Read over the release information presented in the dialog window.
3. Download and install any prerequisites identified in the dialog window before proceeding.
4. Click the Install button.
5. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.
It won't let me uninstall it it says driver not found
Not sure I can help remotely to see what is going on
Just to confirm you did try going into the game profile listed in the CCC and turned on AA in the game profile there and turned AA off in the game preferences ?
Already tried it before
Also I don't have CCC I have Amd radeon https://gyazo.com/7cc503c4d6b6330556f0ae8406f57379
There is like 3 of them which one i downloaded one of them
downloaded that one didnt work ;-;
You can try the web installer if you do not want to download the full file
I figured drivers will be an issue for this system, question if you go in game and turn off Anti Aliasing does the black outlines disappear ?
Nope they still stay
how do i turn it off
Not 100% sure for AMD as I use Nvidia , but if you install radeon pro they have a screen showing the ambient occlusion settings that can be unticked per game , see this link
Back in your radeon settings like the screenshot link you gave did you find where to edit settings for swtor ? unsure if it is there as well as in radeon pro
It may be called SSAO as well if you see that anywhere
One of my games was in the list, swtor wasn't so what should i do?
radeonpro isnt the same as CCC
Try the settings below initially in that game profile , leave AA off ingame as well
Anti-Aliasing Mode - Override application settings
Anti-Aliasing Samples - 8x --- (you may want to try 2x or 4x)
Filter - Standard
Anti-Aliasing Method - Multisampling
Morphological Filtering - Off
Anistropic Filtering - Override apllication settings
Anisotropic Filtering Level - 16x
Texture Filtering Quality - High Quality
Surface Format Optimization - On
Wait for Vertical Refresh - Off, unless application specifies
OpenGL Triple buffering - Off
Tessellation Mode - AMD optimized
Maximum Tessellation - AMD optimized
Yep I understand that
In your radeon settings (the place you gave in the screenshot once you add the game profile by clicking add in the top right and then go to swtor.exe that I gave the path for, then look for similar settings to below
that isn't the place i have mine looks completely different
Same settings , just newer display outlay , see if that has any affect with AA off in game
i got to go to school for now ill let you know if it worked after school
Ok , its 9pm here to give you an idea of my time zone 🙂
