Hi Owen,
Im hoping you can give me a hand too!
Ive got the same problem, please see bellow:[Renderer]
AllowColorRemapping = true
Buckets = 1
CodeVersionChanged = false
doShadows = true
DYDDrawDistancePreset = 1
EnableBloom = true
GraphicsDeviceId = 18086

InfoGraphicsVendor = INTEL_GPU
InfoGraphicsVideoMemoryMB = 128
LastCodeVersionRun = 2
MinspecVramCutoffMB = 256
NativeHeight = 1200
NativeWidth = 1920
NewBucket = 1
PlantDensity = 100
ShaderSet = 9
TextureAnisotropy = 16
TextureQuality = 0
Width = 1920
FxLightsLimit = 13
StaticLightsLimit = 40
WindowX = 0
WindowY = 0
AntiAliasingLevel = 3
MeshLODQuality = 1
SpeedTreeDistanceScale = 1.25
AtlasQuality = 0
EnableSSAO = true
ShadowMapResolution = 1536
[Game]
MoviesFolder = ..\..\Movies
SwtorRegKey = SOFTWARE\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic
Further to the above, and perhaps more critical, there is also this file called ContextError[Settings]
GUI_CharacterSheetVisible = false
Any help you could give me on how to sort this would be greatly appreciated.
PS: Laptop is brand new, Core Intel i7, Intel iRISxe graphics, 32 ram, so machine functionality should not be an issue!
PSS: Love the photo of your new speeder! xD- 2 years ago@maximilianop_92 PS: I have managed to log in into my account through my brother's laptop, changed the graphics settings down back to "high", but still could not log in afterwards through my laptop. This may be relevant as it was the change of graphics that triggered the game crashing and me not being able to log in again. It may also signify that the problem is isolated to my computer only, which is worrying because it is pretty much brand new!
Any help would be welcomed, thanks!- proxos6662 years agoHero+
amend the client_setting file per https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/Guide-Game-failing-to-launch-on-Clicking-Play/m-p/4809830/highlight/true#M70795
is your monitor 1920 x 1200 ? or 1920 x 1080 ?
you will also benefit by changing MinspecVramCutoffMB = 256 to MinspecVramCutoffMB = 64
