Bug: Black Talon Flashpoint Void

First, I would like to say that my bug report in-game seems to be bugged, as when the window opens nothing is clickable and I cannot type at all. I'm not sure if I need to do an extra step that I'm unaware of or if this is an actual issue with my game.

Specs/details:

Spoiler
intel Core i7 inside
OS: Windows 10
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 970M
Class: Sith Inquisitor

This bug occurs every time I try to complete the Black Talon Flashpoint on the way to Dromund Kaas. I defeat the boarders and complete the dialogue to fly to the enemy ship to capture The General. I enter the ship, and when I reappear, I am floating in space with nothing around me. At various points I will take fall damage (registers as 0 in-game though gives me the death message), then reappear and do that again. I cannot move, though I can rotate my character. At one point I was given the option to return to the medcenter, and was put in the same spot. Unstucking does not work. I've tried to complete the flashpoint three different times. After the first time, upon relogging I had to restart the flashpoint. After the second time, I was dumped directly back into the void. Any help would be appreciated, as I'd like to be able to finish the flashpoint. Thanks in advance.

For the Bug Report you need to be an Subscriber for the InGame Support.

For the Bug sounds like corrupted Game Files so try an Repair:

Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner.

If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.

Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut, select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher.

  • Thanks, this worked out and I'll be sure to try this for future bugs as well.
