[Bug] Rakghoul Event - mob aggros on Rakling NPC that is part of quest

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What happens when the bug occurs? Rakghoul Event on Corellia Daily mission to inject fungus and lure out a Corellia Rakling When I pop the fungus, sometimes a nearby enemy will aggro ON THE RAKLING. Screenshot with target-of-target enabled confirms that the enemy mob is focussed on the Rakling. It will not switch aggro to me even when I am nearby. It will just follow the Rakling around, unable to do anything to it.
What do you expect to see? No aggro from enemy mob since it did not aggro on me when I was injecting the fungus.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try popping a fungus when an enemy mob is nearby
