Unfortunately at this time uninstalling ESET isn't really a possibility. I checked ESET's Network activity monitor after trying to log in and noticed that when I tried to log in data was sent but not received. Does this help at all? Is there a certain port I need to allow or something? My router has a firewall, but if I could get through in Safe Mode I'm assuming it can't be that?
In ESET last time i looked protocol filtering has its own exception list separate to the main one, just to confirm you are adding both launcher.exe and swtor.exe to all the exception lists ?
Check windows firewall as well for launcher.exe , ensure it is allowing inbound and outbound and is set for public along with private networks
Another thing to try is disabling as a test SSL filtering likely located under advanced>web and email>web access>

Mate, you are my hero. I nearly gave up hope, but your solution with ESET protocol and SSL filtering was a hit. Thanks.
