Cannot recover Account

I have been a long time player, but have been away s few years.  I tried to long in but had an authenticator, which they no loner use.  I cannot remove the authenticator since Yahoo deactivate my email attached to the account.  I have reactivated the same email but still have/can not received the code to remove the authenticator

I have always maintained a paid account, even when the game when FTP, so there should be plenty of records regarding my subscriptions. What would be the next best step to resolve this issue.
