I have followed your instructions. I followed those instructions before I even posted here.
Here is the steps I had done previously
1. Attempted to reset the password of the linked EA account - never received the reset email, checked spam folder also
2. Changed the email in SWTOR to match the EA account that I login to when playing other EA games on my XBox.
3. Attempted to change the password on the EA account that now matched SWTOR.
4. Changed the email in SWTOR back to original
5. Attempted to reset the password on the EA account for the email in SWTOR - same result as step one - never received the reset email
you are best then to call swtor support to update the email , or you can open a case at help.ea.com for an "origin account" and tell them you cant reset the password due to not getting the email

Thanks for the help. I have contacted EA support and they are able to see the linked account has been deleted and to activate I need to reset the password. Since the email is not getting to me then there is nothing they can do as they cannot undelete an account. Accounts can only be undeleted by resetting the password.

contact swtor support on monday when the lines are open , they can update the email to one that can receive the password reset email for you
