can't loot purple gear in flashpoint

As far as I know, this is unfortunately a coincidence, who gets the purple equipment.

Just out of curiosity are you a subscriber?  If your F2P or Preferred do you have the artifact authorization purchased and activated for your character or account?

Are you running the flashpoints in solo mode?  Veteran or Master Mode?

Are you level 70 then as well?

Hmm. I'll have to check later today when I'm off work but I believe once you hit 70 purple gear no longer drops because it's supposed to come from.the command crates.

While leveling gear auto adjusts to your level.  For example it may be called aftermarket gear within one level range and then another name in a different level range.

You see this with heroci mission gear rewards.  As a subscriber the gear name and stats change based on your level range and the same names drop as purple gear from flashpoints as well.  For heroics it's blue gear and only goes up to 65 then stops and becomes the currency you exchange at the odessan area.

I believe at the same time the purple gear stops dropping as well.  I've only gotten blue or green gear to drop at 70 even from regular mobs.
