Can't progress the Imperial Agent story line in SWTOR

Well, I am at the conclusion of the 1st chapter of the Agent Storyline. The mission is called A New Epoch of Fear. I went to the Artus, and everything was fine till it told me to go to the command deck. I went there and nothing happened. I even walked around and stood in the center of the area. I thought the game was lagging, so I logged out and back in. Now the mission told me to talk to the mysterious figure instead of going to the bridge. Except, when I click on the ‘mysterious figure’ he states: “Enter your codes in the terminal, and give control over the eradicators to me”. I cannot click on any terminal because I haven't spoken to him yet (I have played an agent before so I know the storyline). I cannot continue the agent storyline because of this issue.

I have tried the following and so far nothing has worked:

-leaving the Artus and coming back

-logging out and back in

-restarting my computer and relogging back in

-sending a help ticket a week ago

  • @proxos666 The rest button is greyed out for me. I have tried leaving the Artus and going somewhere else to see if I couldn't reset it because I was in the instance, and that did not work either.

Have you tried clicking on your character portrait and selecting "reset active phase"? That may help.

  • @ragnarok013  I did that and the only option was "reset local phases", not "reset active phases" like you said. I tried my only option and it gave me an error saying I was still in the instance (I was on the Artus at the time). I went to my personal starship and tried again, and gave me the same error. It won't let me right click on my portrait and select the phases while on the fleet or on a planet (I tried on Dromund Kaas). I even went back to the Artus (the area between the airlock back to the ship and the imperial agent instance) and it wouldn't let me reset the instance. Thanks for the idea, though.

Well, the only option I can think of now is to literally delete my character and start over, which is annoying to say the least.
