Can't progress through the story because of inability to talk to npc.

In the mission Rajivari's Legacy i have to talk to an injured twi'lek. My problem is that i may have spoken to it before my mission updated, because I spoke to it and nothing happened. I tried to speak to it again but I am unable to speak to it. My mission requires me to speak to it. Going on and off the game again didn't work. If anyone has a way to fix this I would be grateful.
