I also have this issue, username Tostman_
You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona tostman3 (not yapmgic7) that EA account uses the same email as on your swtor account
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword (insert the swtor email in the link) then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
the 3 purchases previously made have been placed in the refund queue and will refund when they close in the system
once the above password is reset the account is ok to repurchase, and will work as intended.
- 5 years ago@proxos666 Finally got it working after going through so many processess. The incognito mode was the final trick to get this working for me after the ea account reset.

Dear,
Same thing happened to me.
Bought subscription from steam, followed your guide here to submit screenshots.
Got an automated mail back from swtor-support to reset EA - account password. link would be included in the email, but it wasn't.
I replied that the link wasn't included recieved the same mail again from swtor-support.
i resetted my EA-account password directly here on the website. but nothing changed.
Can you please look into this.
Swtor-account is WarfieldT
Thanks in advance

You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has a generated persona (not Colwef your posting on) that EA account uses the same hotmail.be email as on your swtor account
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword (insert the swtor email in the link) then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

Your steam game time should be added to your account sometime today or tomorrow
if you have a recurring sub on swtor , the steam sub can be cancelled to save doubling up

I also can't subscribe or buy cartel coins and I get this error:
"There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance."

What if your EA account and SWTOR accounts are not linked? Mine do not appear to be, but my SWTOR account was made in 2012... I have not been able to find a solution to purchase either coins or subscribe for my account. When I'm logged into EA, it doesn't even show SWTOR as a game in my library. So resetting the EA password to my match my SWTOR password does nothing.

Swtor username ?
Your swtor account will have a linked ea account , it would of used the email to create the account , these accounts can have different emails and passwords now.
- 4 years ago@proxos666 I just called EA customer support to resolve the linkage.
