Sounds like you had a lot of failed attempts buying cartel coins
Support said you can try a different payment method, but you should give them a call in any case
I have been away for about 4 months....downloaded the game and went to begin my subscription....however it tells me EA is experiencing very high traffic and try later....it has been doing that for about 36 hours now...please advise.
Thank you

You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona happybelly99 (not filmmaster915) that EA account uses a university email
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
If you dont have access to that email anymore , give swtor support a call they should be able to help update that email address

I had this problem twice as well. It seems to be a browser-related issue. When using Mozilla Firefox, it wouldn't matter how many times I reset the password, I would get the same error. Then I read through this thread and saw mentions of undeleted browser catch, so I decided to try a browser I generally never touch... microsoft edge... I feel dirty even just typing that name... Alas, I had no error when I tried to sub using this unholy browser.
I do wish this issue was solved so that we don't have to go through extra efforts to subscribe to a game/service... makes one rethink whether they really want to spend more money on said product.

Typo with swtor username it is klotchkoff
You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has no persona (not Sakoc your posting with now) that EA account uses a hotmail email (likley the email used to create the swtor account).
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
