i have this problem too, username Lyuke.
I've tryed to subscribe by Steam but the game/website dosn't see me as subscribed too
use incognito mode on chrome or clear the browser cache your account is fine

To fix the account You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona hozzer123 (not hozzer666 your posting on now) that EA account uses the same email as on your swtor account
use the following link (insert the swtor email) to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

Sorry was mistype can't sub only get message "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance."

The fix did not work for the account I was seeking help with. My account with Display Name: gamerkidty Is the account receiving the error message "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance." preventing me from subscribing. in fact the other account you said associated with this account works fine, and allows me to purchase a sub.

can you post here using the ea account persona fredlynch just to be sure you reset the password on the correct EA account (this is not a swtor account)

I am having issues with purchasing my subscription as well. I was told by my friend and confirmed on this thread that I needed to change my password for EA. I did that, but because it is the Sunday I cannot reach out to the helpdesk. Can you help me out?
My user name is riesteard.

use the following link to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

support said the account is ok
standard troubleshoot now so would wait 24 h, recheck payment details ( remove/ add). Check with your payment provider if your suppose to validate the transaction, and try with a different payment method .. if it keeps failing to call support when the lines are open
