Cartel Coins Error
So I've purchased cartel coins before (months ago) and have also purchased dlc in the past. Basically all I want to do is buy 5 dollars worth of coins and keep getting an error saying This service is currently unavailable for this account. If you wish to purchase more cartel coins please call our Customer Service team or you can try again tomorrow. Calling gets me a lovely ten minute wait with customer service which goes NOWHERE, and I've tried again tomorrow for the last ******* week. At this point with how poor the customer support is from EA I'm considering just dropping the game. Does anyone have a fix for this bug at all? I literally just want 5 dollars worth of coins, EA, is that too much to ask??
There are multiple reasons for this to happen. Looks like your account was flagged because either you bought too many Cartel Coins or there was a problem with your credit card. Unfortunately, only Customer Service can help you with that, and it is their policy to only fix account issues via phone, so there's no point trying to send them an e-mail or in-game ticket.
In the worst case, you can always buy a physical Cartel Coin card at a retail store, or a digital code online. Then, the purchase should work without a problem and you can just redeem it on swtor.com to get the coins. The best part is that you will receive a pet along with it for free.
