Just to be 100% sure is the bios date time correct too ?
It has been a while since i have had to look at certificate errors so will need to dig further

never really had to do with certificates at all. is it possible to check if the needed cert is in place or could it be added manually?

Can you check if KB3033929 was installed , it is related to this advisory for SHA2 in Windows 7

Here is a good link with steps to look at the certs installed
- Go to Start > Run.
- Execute the following command: “certmgr.msc”.
- Check if the following certificates exist in the local computer:
