I would try to change it back and send it to the email it used to go into. Then you can change it back once you log in. To avoid this issue again in the future, you can add a security key to your account. Not only will this bypass the one-time password email but you'll also receive 100cc free each month. Information on setting up the security key (which is free for any android / iPhone) is found here

I cannot subs to my old e-mail cos I changed my Cable provider and mail box was connected to it ☹️
I did change my e-mail already in the EA portal.....looks like EA has major Customer Master Data problem.

Have you changed the email at www.swtor.com if not and there is no access to the old email then as mentioned phone is the quickest solution
