combat support droid not working!!

I am so mad, I am doing the flashpoint of ilum, and in the mission tracker there isnt a combat support drod! its not in the mission items either! I've waited through bug fixes, and updates and still, no combat support droid, i tried doing the flashpoint without it, but i keep dying, PLEASE someone help, and again its not in the mission items, and not in the mission tracker.

    Hey @sirtegg08 

    You have to adandon the "[VETERAN] Flashpoint: the battle of ilum" quest. The other is your story, which can stay.

    You can re-accept the flashpoint-quest in the lower floor of the main base on Ilum. On imperial site it's a droid named "S-K6". I don't know the name on republic side. You can check that looking below the name. There you can see the name of the flashpoint. Here is a picture of the droid on imperial site and it's position. (sorry, it's German):

    Hey @sirtegg08 

    First of all you should ensure that you select story mode on the NPC where you get the FP. Could it be that you started the fp in veteran or master mode?

    @RealymanLP I only started playing SWTOR like a month ago, whst does NPC mean, and FP, thanks for answering my question btw!

    Hey @sirtegg08 

    NPC = No player character, in this case I mean the quest giver

    FP = Flashpoint

    When you accept the flashpoint on the quest giver you should be able to select the difficulty (Story, Veteran, Master). There you should ensure that you select Story.

    If you are still unsure, could you send a screenshot from the flashpoint quest in your quest log.

    Hey @sirtegg08 

    You firstly have to remove the old quest. To do that, just open your quest log (Key L), select the quest and after that click on "abandon" to delete the quest.

    After that you can accept the quest on the NPC again. You can find the NPC on ilum directly before the flashpoint entrance.

    @RealymanLP do i abandon "an empire betrayed" or "[VETERAN] Flashpoint: the battle of ilum"? and where exactly do i select the storymode to story? is it while im talking to the droid? or somewhere else?

    i dont know what i would've done without you, ive had this problem for months, i almost deleted SWTOR of my pc, i was so mad, thanks for being patient with a noob!!
