Disputing Account Suspended years ago by EA, after being Hacked
As the title says.
Quick rundown: After spending the weekend out of town to visit family, I get alerts from my Bank about suspicious transactions. Lo and behold, they're SWTOR transactions. I call Bioware support for SWTOR in a state of panic because I'm not even home nor did I have access to a PC right then and there. Bioware quickly locks down the account and reverses all the crap the hacker had done, and keeps it locked down till I get home later that night (not gonna lie, I did drive at some mildly questionable speeds to get home quickly) where they unlocked it so I could change the password, add a security key, etc once I confirmed for myself that my email was safely locked down.
Three days later, I get suspended by EA. When I attempted to get more information, I was told it was due to the charges against my account being refunded.
The exact same charges made by the hacker.
I attempted to explain, and even pointed them in the direction of Bioware who had helped save my account originally, only to receive silence. I have continued to Dispute the Suspension off and on over the years (though less and less as time goes on because wow, it certainly gets disheartening), and have even received a reply from one of the previous attempts telling me to stop attempting to disputing the suspension due to the SWTOR ToS stating that EA was well within their rights to suspend me due to the actions of the hacker.
Is there any way to get my account back? Part of me feels that I'm in a never ending state of being punished by EA for the actions of someone else who had zero consent to be on my account.
