If it won't validate then what I would recommend is to try to open the link in a different browser. See if you can copy the link from your email and try chrome or Firefox.
If that doesn't work log into your account and try changing it to a different email and then trying to validate with that email address and if it works then switch it back.
To avoid having to validate again in the future you can add a security key to your account which not only prevents future validation needed but also gives you 100cc a month for using it. The app is free for any Android or iPhone.
