Exit SWTOR changes Desktop Resolution

This problem started recently. I haven't played much since KoTET, so do not know when it started. When I run the game, everything is fine and resolution stays at 2560x1080.

When I quit, SWTOR changes my desktop resolution to 1920x1080. The monitor is connected with DisplayPort and I have been using it just fine for the last 3 years. This desktop resolution change only happens for SWTOR. The gpu is a 780 TI and has a clean install of drivers.

    This problem persisted despite the helpful assistance provided above. Multiple clean installs later, I tried modifying client_defaults.ini in the install directory and set:

    FullScreen=false

    And it seems to have resolved the issue (1/1 success).

    Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time

    Copy the following in to the text box and press ok

    %localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings

    Open the client_settings.ini file in notepad

    Check NativeHeight, NativeWidth, Height and Width ( all 4 ) match your monitor resolution.

    Sorry, I already checked that file. I also deleted it based on some search results found and had it rebuilt from scratch. It didn't fix the problem:

    If what @proxos666 suggested doesn't help, in the client_settings.ini can you change this

    FullScreen = true

    to this:

    FullScreen = false

    When you next launch the game, set the fullscreen settings to Windowed Fullscreen and see if the resolution changes upon exit again.
