Failure to Load after Update
Anyone else having problems with playing after game update 7.4.1? I can hit play and then it goes to the load screen (splash screen) but it freezes and then it says the game is failing to respond. ...

Really starting to get tired of this. It happens EVERY time they do a major update. I've tried EVERY suggestion and nothing. This is now day 2. If this doesn't get fixed soon I'll be cancelling my subscription. I love the game but the technical problems are starting to outweigh my enjoyment.
I agree with you, i've tried every suggestion about 3 times over and still nothing is working.

So I just tried to get on and saw that there will be another update today 7.4.1a, I'm assuming whatever error there is preventing myself and others from playing the game will hopefully be solved in this update?
Because now when I go on and attempt to play it's still the same thing; press play, black screen or load screen, then crash.
Also, now the black screen or load screen wont even display as a full screen, I see the windows utility bar at the bottom and the close/minimize buttons up top before the screen says "not responding."
there is no current fix for the loading issue people have presently that i am aware of
saying that the issue people are experiencing is a stuck on loading screen issueblack screen and close is usually caused by the client_setting , but saying that your dxdiag suggests you should be affected by this
Can you post the contents of the client_setting file here just to be sure
Not being investigated fast enough. 7.4.1a DID NOT fix the problem. If I lose a whole week of the new season to their screw up I'm cancelling my subscription. I'm tired of this happening with EVERY major update.
Sorry to hear, hopefully the investigation fixes the problem. My game is working now even after the second update, but that windows utlity bar is still showing and cutting off the bottom 1/16th of the gameplay screen
