game does not launch after pressing play

I installed a windows update yesterday evening and when i tried launching swtor today the launcher disappeared and nothing happened.

i have tried restarting my pc, repairing the launcher, updating my drivers, doing a clean boot and adding launcher.exe to my firewall exception list but nothing helps.

i added a dxdiag and these are my client settings:

    I re-installed the game and now it launches again! thanks for the help. 🙂

    @Tike20000 

    There are crashes with mcafee around the swtor crash are you certain mcafee isn't interfering ?

    edit - Also if you want to update the intel video driver yours is 2018 the latest driver can be found at this link

    i updated my intel drivers and tried launching the game with mcafee firewall and real time scanning turned off but it still doesnt work.

    @Tike20000 

    The intel driver looks bork now, maybe best to use DDU and then do a clean install of the intel and the nvidia driver

    i used DDU to uninstall and reinstall my drivers, still doesnt work.

    EDIT: i also just updated my nvidia drivers again; updated the dxdiag.
