Game freezes knights of the fallen

game keeps freezing in star wars knights of the fallen empire. game runs fine everywhere else and runs up to around 70+ fps on mid settings and 35 fps on high. pc doesnt heat up or anything just the game freezes and keeps doing it. if i go anywhere else in the game doesnt freeze up at all. anyone know how to fix this.

Is there any particular reason the Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 is being used with the Nvidia 1060 ?

I would disable the 530 as one of the first things and see if it still occurs

Are you sure the game isnt using the 530 instead of the 1060 , reason i ask is load issues with intel is common

have you done a repair initially ?

Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner.

If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.

Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,

select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher

yea i did that and did a fresh reinstall of the game.. idk why not working lol.. i been playing this game forever but with this dlc just doesnt want to work

I am having a similar issue. Started randomly 2 days ago. I created a new lvl 60 character and got through chapter 1 but the second chapter 2 starts the game freezes. Have to log out of windows to get out of it. But I do also have a lvl 65 that is finishing up chapter 10 and it doesn't freeze on that character, just the new one. And not on any of my other characters not in KOFE expansion. I have tried updating drivers and changing settings but nothing seems to work.

Can you post a dxdiag to get visibility of hardware per this link

lower all gfx to low and delete the game cach file it is located at

C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor

in that location just delete the file called diskcachearena before starting the launcher

I did this and nothing happened. I need another solution please. Thanks. I tried all the solutions u give to the others fellow with that problem, but ...nothing happened...the game are freezing at chapter 2.
