Game Needs Fixing

I've been playing for a month. I can't seem to play a bounty hunter cuz it won't allow me past the cutscene to get to the opening conversations. Also, whenever I have an area objective and I move my cursor over the icon, it crashes the game. What steps need to be taken to fix this critical issue with my game?

    Are you having lag issues? For a while I had an issue with cutscenes stalling and not displaying the conversation wheels due to the lag I was experiencing.

    Yea I lag. It was horrible but it's cleared some. But I lag a lot still.

    @Juhanoo

    The cutscene freeze is something seen normally with Intel Video cards at present , try lowering all gfx settings to low and retry the cinematic.

    The crash on mouse over is also a fairly new thing seen and also appears to be intel video cards , example this thread and this thread

    I would then be making the assumption you likely have a intel video card

    Thanks. I run my game at the absolute lowest setting just to cut back on the lag. But if it's my graphics card causing all this, is there some way I can fix it?

    Make sure all your drivers are up to date. If they are it may be worth trying to reinstall the graphics card driver.

    Depending on what you are willing to spend, if you do a lot of gaming it may be worth getting a new graphics card. I have never had any issues with the Nvidia cards and installing one of those solved all sorts of issues for me on various games etc.

    If not and the reinstall doesn't work it may be worth trying to contact someone via intel support and seeing if they have a fix you can download for these sorts of problems.

    Also worth trying is installing another game that has cutscenes etc and seeing if you have the same problems. Could just be that your card isn't good enough anymore or is faulty.

    Sorry cant guide you to any outright fixes but these steps might help you sort it or at least rule out some possible problems 🙂

    Are you playing on Mac or Linux by any chance? What you're describing is a common bug found when playing the game with wine.
