So players with the streaming launcher can't get the new patch?

Incorrect sir, players with the "Streaming" Client are the ones without the issues, those that do not use the streaming client are the ones that will have to give it a bit.

Personally folks have different reasons for using either  or client, but I don't have any issues with either, I now use the streaming clients due to the ease to not have a folder bloat, as my Original Client had my swtor folder 'bloat' up to 50gigs+.

Well I am using the Streaming Launcher and I still have this issue even after a clean install.

I even forced a verify by deleting the Bitraider folder and deleting the XFR files only, still didn't work. Used a repair utility didn't work either.

Are you able to get to the server list?

Yes, but the launcher won't update my game, so i'm stuck in the last patch and not the current one no matter what I do. Thus the game itself tells me that my version doesn't matches the servers, so I get kicked out of the game.

Have the same problem with my non-streaming luncher.

you can try ignoring the messege, if you press X or Ok it will kick you out, but you can try to press play on your characters and it should work.

BUT, for some reason one of my characters wont work, will get stuck loading, and each time I quit the game through alt+F4 it starts to download a random  thing.... English assest 5 or english video 1... and this wont solve the problem

I have the non streaming launcher and don't have this issue

After you login , on the top right you will see your username , select settings on the pull down and run repair

already tried, it scans the game, says it finished. then I have to relog the luncher because it wont let me press play. then It starts updating something... 

that what happened before. I'll lunch the game once more, see what happens, try to fix luncher again, and will update you.
