Been trying to fix this all day to no avail. Basically, after the launcher loads, I'll hit play, and it will close. Nothing else happens, and the game doesn't start. I've tried just about everything I could find on this and other sites, from removing BitRaider to doing a clean boot and checking antivirus. No dice. As far as I can tell, the drivers are up to date. Running ST. @ChancellorPalps Your video drivers are 2016 , AMD says the latest is at this link for your cpu/video card - Link also when you go to start the game ensure windows power management is set to high performance at present it is set to power save which will have an impact on the game performance. edit - there also appears to be some component store errors in the dxdiag , best to open a command prompt as administrator and run the following command sfc /scannow see if that detects errors

@ChancellorPalps Unable to scan ? press the windows key and type cmd and then right mouse click on command prompt and select open as administrator then enter sfc /scannow Also if you press the windows key and type power and then select "choose a power plan" is high performance selected ?

Too many times, lol. Yeah, I got nothing out of it unfortunately. Tried each solution.

After my reinstall, I no longer have the client_settings file. I only have SWTORPerf. My files aren't hidden, either.

Downloaded the update, was unable to scan, however. Went through a few solutions, tried messing with Windows Module Installer, but nothing worked there. I think this was still the case when I could last play SWTOR, however.

High performance is selected. When I type sfc /scannow, it says Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service. I've tried restarting the installer ans trying in safe mode, but no dice there. Like I said, I don't know if this is affecting SWTOR, but I know I was having this issue with sfc even when I was able to play last.
