Hello all!
Having not played SWTOR for 4-5 years I reinstalled it now on 2020 to Windows 10. The launcher crashed many times, but it was because I had low disk space.
Then it got installed up to "ready to play" mode. The game would not start first.
But it started after:
-I had deleted the settings.ini -file (which DID have correct resolutions by the way for my monitor) and...
-I put all the 4 application executables of main folder to my trusted files list on my 360 security...
-I put also the swtor.exe from swtor/retailclient to trusted list...
-I put the whole folder of Star Wars-The Old Republic to trusted list...
-I also had before set all the previous 5 application executables to be run in Administrator privileges (for all the windows accounts)
I hope this helps

with 360 ensure any exceptions are set to allow instead of just auto

@proxos666Hello, no I did not try the Repair, because the game works already. At least I'm in character selection, but it's still downloading because I have an old character, who I suppose is not in a "starting world" that can be played at this stage of the install process.... But it's good to know there's a Repair if more problems occur.
