Guild leader left, cant make new leader

Hi

Started playing the game again after years away. Sadly whole kin is now "dead" but still seems impossible to make it grow again and start using subscribers perks as i (or any one else) cant take charge of it.

Fact about "us":

- Guild is 4-5 years old - as we started playing together in early access.

- Guild leader is gone - not on member list any more - and have not been online since i started playing again 3-4 months ago

- No "leaders" (leader or officers) have been online last 3 years according to member list

- Only other players that have been active last few "days" is a member 12 days ago and a recruit 37 days ago - last time a lieutenant was only was 53 days ago.

- Doubt any of us was a subscriber when guild was active as that change came after we stopped playing

- Im now a subscriber - guild is listed as f2p

Is there any way to take charge of guild, do i need help from a GM or do i need to leave and start all over again?

    It should auto promote after 30 days , if it doesn't submit a ingame ticket and link them to here for the details be sure to mention that auto promote has not occurred for an extend period

    Edit - see here

    Inactive guild leaders
    If your Guild Leader has not logged in to Star Wars: The Old Republic on their Guild Leader character for an extended period of time (4 weeks or more), the system will automatically remove them as Guild Leader and pass their leadership on to the highest ranking member who is a subscriber and has logged in within four weeks. If there were no active subscribers in the guild over the last four weeks, the highest ranking Preferred or Free-to-Play member who logged in within four weeks is promoted.

    If the member who is promoted to Guild Leader does not wish to act as leader, they can pass leadership on to another officer using the /gabdicate command.

    Thanks for tip Proxos666 but sadly didnt fix it.

    1) Auto promote doesnt work as nothing has happened for 4 months.

    2) Making an in game ticket didnt do much either ☹️ - reply i got was;

    "Thank you for contacting us with your question about your Guild.

    Please visit our dedicated Help Center Page at http://www.swtor.com/support/helpcenter/7342 where you will find the information you were looking for along with a lot more information on Guilds, Guild Management and Guild Features.

    We would ask you to please be aware that our Customer Service team can no longer assist in transferring Guild Leadership due to the introduction of an automated system for removing inactive Guild Leaders. Information on this system is available on the Help Center page linked above.

    Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you have any other questions or encounter any other issues.

    Galactic Support is our specialty... " - well... im not sure i agree with the last statement but lets see, i might still be wrong 😉

    Link posted above - http://www.swtor.com/support/helpcenter/7342 - didnt give me much info either;

    "There has been an error loading your results. You may need to choose a different or more specific term to search for. Please check the Customer Service or contact !contact if you need more information."

    Looking at the info below, i see the "Contact Us In-Game";

    "If you're a subscriber and you require assistance with an issue inside the game, you can create an in-game ticket by clicking on the "Customer Service Help Request" Main Menu option (or by pressing "Ctrl + /") and following the instructions on the "Request Help" tab." - well allow me to say beeing a subscriber trying that option sure didnt do me much! Sadly ☹️

    @EA_David  is there anything at this end that can be done with a leaderless guild ? will also need to feed back that they need to change the links in the emails they send out and not point to the old help center anymore ...

    Just a question - and hope some one might know the answer - but if;

    1) Auto promote dont work in-game (havent worked for 4 months)

    2) In-game ticket explaining the problem dont work (dont feel reply above helped much), and

    3) No solution on these "forums"

    Is there any other option i try and fix this?

    The only other option that you could do in game would be to have all member leave and create a new guild.  If you don't wish to do this then it would require BW stepping in and auto promoting someone to guild leader.

    You can try submitting another ticket, hopefully they can do something from here or get a response.  I know that @proxos666 asked if @ea_david can assist, hope a response will be received soon.
