Help, my characters have disappeared and been replaced

I logged in today to find that both of my characters were gone and have been replaced with a single character named "Shadowashe" who is not my character. I had just completed the Sith warrior story ...

That sounds like you're logged in to the wrong account.
Check the entered data again exactly.

I also noted that I had to re-accept the terms and conditions when I logged into the launcher today after accepting them again yesterday (I had re-installed the game yesterday)

I've only got two emails/names that I use and I checked both, one of them doesn't have an account registered to it so it can't be the wrong account.

  What is the swtor username you believe had different characters ? , there may not be much can do over the forum but can check if there isnt a simple explanation, you will likely need to call swtor cs, and will likely resolve this quickly for you.
