I cant accept lightsaber as Sith Assassin. Help

I am a non-subscription player. I am currently playing a lvl 14 Sith Assassin. I completed the story up to the point where Lord Zash has instructed me to meet her to discuss the map I found along with the Dashade, and the Skotia thugs try to kill me and it presented me with the window from where I would accept the double bladed lightsaber but lo and behold, the "Accept' button is blurred out and has been on every iteration of that window since. I tried restarting and I get the same issue. Being a non subscriber, neither EA nor SWTOR will give this issue a priority which I think it's preposterous since this is a major bug that interferes with early character progression and growth. If someone can help me solve this issue, I will be forever thankful. May the force be with you all who read this.
