I can't turn off the star wars headgear toggle slot

The headgear toggle slot is on for some reason. I am not a subscriber so I do not have access to turn on or turn off the toggle for headgear, but for some reason it turned on for no reason, so now I can't see my headgear. What exactly happened was that me and my friends were playing together, and we decided to as a joke take off our clothing and fight enemies. When doing this I had to switch over from my outfit to my equipped gear. When I tried going back to my outfit, the toggle had been turned on, and I have no way of turning it off.
