Inactive Guild Leader
So, according to the swtor help bot, I have to wait 4 weeks for my guild to be re-transferred back over to my legacy as I left the guild on the creator to help a friends guild. I lost my sub and the ...
Thank you for the swift reply guys.
That is very sad news that has made me very very annoyed. This is one of the most messed up systems I've heard of regarding guild inactivity in a mmorpg. EA must be cutting down on bioware staff and trying to make everything automated or something. I was really looking forward to getting back into swtor but this has put me right off. I even subscribed just to get my guild back, knowing that was now a waste of money and time has just infuriated me even more.
What's so hard about simply getting someone to switch over guild ownership back to the creator's account after they gain their subscription back.
SWTOR is not the only game that does, or did this. Back when I played WoW, they only removed an inactive guildmaster only after 90 days of inactivity, and I watched a guild that had been around since launch disintegrate because of a guild leader that would not pass leadership, and logged onto his guild leader character often enough to prevent automatic handover. I prefer SWTOR's setup, 4 weeks or even 30 days is much more reasonable.
