Khem Val Legacy Locked

I have completed all class story missions on my Sith Inquisitor and fully completed all other companion conversations. I can see a gray quest bubble over Khem's head in my ship and in cantinas, however i can't initiate a conversation. Tried almost everything, at this point i'm certain it needs a hard reset or something. What can i do ??
