Koth is gone
How do I get Koth back? I absolutely can't stand listening to or reading the boring conversations and stuff in progression. I'm here to play a game, not watch a boring movie or read a book. Anyway...

Not sure if serious but if you already completed the chapter, you cannot undo your actions; you can only play through it again on a different character.
It was specifically advertised that choices would matter so it's your own fault if you randomly select responses but don't want to lose a companion, and Customer Service won't help you with it.
Not sure where it was advertised. I logged in, it said I could now do the progression... so I started it.
Now, I did get an email in game. I read it also before starting the progression. It said nothing about losing a companion. Nor did it say anything about conversation choices at all. And even if it had, choices have always made a difference... they just have never made a significant difference besides faction 99.9% of the time. And even then they have graphics that pop up to let you know you are about to take a faction hit if you select it. And the super rare times it did make a big difference in some other fashion you could easily undo it.
And seriously, losing a companion?! Just for selecting the wrong thing? How does this seem even remotely right to anyone?

EDIT: I went back and looked. The email I got was in reference to HK-55. Said absolutely nothing about choices or losing a companion. I have nothing in my non game email account either that "advertises" this.
You know that thing they keep saying since KOTFE was announced, "CHOICES MATTER!" ? Well it turns out it actually does 😉

Here is how I play this game...
* I log in and hit play.
* I usually will read at least the subject line on ingame emails sent to my toons. It's usually junk so seldom read the whole thing.
* I will usually read at least the subject line of emails sent to my actual email account. These are usually junk also and so I seldom read the whole thing.
However, I went back and looked at both (I usually hold onto them for a month or more before deleting) and seen no mention of losing a pet or anything about conversations in this story line.
I didn't even know for sure when this expansion was going to release. I woke up, logged in and I had a new mission to continue progression. So, I hit "play now".
Anyway, I'm guessing from these responses that there is no way to reset it. Is that correct? Do we know when the next expansion is going to release and whether Koth will be returned?
