use the repair utility and see if any change https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/GUIDE-Launcher-Troubleshooting/m-p/4805820/highlight/true#2
have you done a clean boot ? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd

I have tested both ways and there is no change.
Yesterday I tested to install the game with the original DVDs. The installation went well and I was able to launch the launcher but the launcher is too old and it cannot find the server.
I have also read that newer Intel processors have problems running DRM protected games. Is this the case with SWTOR?
https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2021/11/faulty-drm-breaks-dozens-of-games-on-intels-alder-lake-cpus/
I have a 12700K and Bafrost a 12900K

i will flag this thread with CS and see if they have seen others similar

support said the issue with the new Intel processors is only affecting games with Denuvo protection , swtor isnt one of them.
maybe attach a dxdiag per https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/Guide-Posting-a-DxDiag/m-p/4832663/highlight/true#M70799 see if crash reports shed anything further

I've performed a clean boot, which didn't have any effect at all. It behaved just like before. I've also tried using the launcher from SWTOR (and also with the launcherrepair utility you linked) with the same effect.
Attaching the output from the launcher diagnostics, which was ran during a clean boot.

I installed the game on a laptop and everything is fine on it.
In Windows / system32, there is also the file "dataexchange.dll". I copied this version of the game to a portable hard drive.
The game runs on this hard drive and I can play it if I use the laptop.
However, if I run the game with my computer. I have the same problem.
I also tried to delete the dll file ... it doesn't change anything
I restarted the computer several times in clean mode. We have the same problem.
I found someone on Reddit with the same symptoms but there is no follow-up to their post.
Do you have another idea?

disable the intel video card , unless you need it enabled ?
You both run 3080s with 496.49 , there is a hotfix driver released https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5253
otherwise testing an older driver version like 472.12 is worth checking

Are you able to pull half the ram sticks and check and then swap to the other half and check again
you have a lot of application crashes listed
witcher3.exe
wrath.exe
destiny2.exe
kingdomcome.exe
msedge.exe
armorywebrowseredge.exe
asusfancontrolservice.exe
msinfo also has
HWiNFO64.EXE
7zFM.exeNewWorld.exe
NVIDIA Broadcast.exe
Cyberpunk2077.exe
AcPowerNotification.exe
etc etc- 4 years ago
The game "crashes" are probably due to me alt-f4'ing, have not had any CTD's after building this. The same goes for the asus/armory-services, which was uninstalled as it's mostly bloatware hah. One exception is a onetime BSOD after using a most likely incorrect driver for audio. That has been uninstalled since then. I'd guess this might account for the crashes that are visible?
Not at the PC right now, so not able to pull out ram sticks (and it's probably gonna be a hassle since it's a tight fit with the top mounted radiator. For what it's worth, the RAM has passed testing with memtest86.
