Launcher is stuck on play button

Hi,
So, I tried running the game on my laptop after 2 years of a break.

the launcher got stuck AFTER finishing all patches.

It just keep having the play button available to press, but when I press it, either the lancher shuts down and thats it, no game is running,

or the launcher is stuck with the play button and it won't turn off no matter how many times will I press it.

I tried obviously to reinstall the game and of course, restart the laptop and everything but nothing helped.

If it happend to anyone and they happen to have a solution, it'll be much appriciated! :D
