I am running it as admin.
I just found out that i'm having request timed out when pinging cdn-patch.swtor.com.
All pings to any cdn-patch.swtor.com will always time out , footprint servers block all pings
Try a repair as per here initially
Also if you've used the workaround on your "loading screen" you'll have to reset it back to normal for the patch.
