Launcher stuck on Login

Hello, I'm trying to launch the game on a friend's computer through the launcher (not Steam), but it's not letting me log in. I can put in the display name and password, but when I click log in I'm ...

    @SpiffyBlitz 

    are you able to install via steam ? it will install additional support packages if they are missing from the normal install

try pressing the ALT + Enter key a few times when that loading screen appears on login

      when you say blue circle do you mean on the launcher or the login screen of the game ?

        @proxos666 When we launch the game through the shortcut, it takes us to a window where we can put in the display name and password (and security key). When we hit log in, there's a blue circle on the right of the screen (where the art is) and it spins, and that's as far as we've gotten
