Launcher stuck on Login

Hello,

I'm trying to launch the game on a friend's computer through the launcher (not Steam), but it's not letting me log in. I can put in the display name and password, but when I click log in I'm stuck on loading (the blue circles come up, but they don't go away). Any ideas as to why? We've reinstalled the launcher a couple of times, and repair is greyed out in the gear menu. We can also log in to the account through the website, just not through the launcher, apparently. Also, we aren't getting an error message- it was left alone for an hour but still had the blue circles.
