Launcher stuck

Can you attach the latest launcher log will be in log folder in the game folder

Edit - also go into task manager and end any bitraider processes then start the launcher.

if any patch folder exists delete it

There is a patch folder that gets created when i run the launcher, but when i close the launcher the patch folder gets deleted

The bitraider side is certainly having issues for some reason

remove and re-add exceptions for launcher.exe to the antivirus and firewall and then open a command prompt as administrator and do a dns flush with the following command

ipconfig /flushdns

see if this has any affect

with am at "installing 100% updating complete" but the play button is greyed out

the most common cause is the bitraider mini support service stub loader isn't started , but I can see you said you checked that already

I had checked in the services.msc, both of the bitraider services have "started". Whenever i close the launcher, there are two bitraider programs that stick around, I close them out. 

I had done the dns flush

Only thing that seems to make a difference is if i have it read a different  launcher.settings file. All that changes is weither it says "installing 100%" or "installing 0%"

My roommate has a copy of the game and it runs fine on his computer, are there any files I can copy from his to mine?

It is possible to copy the entire game folders between computers over holus bolus and it should just work.

I'll give that a shot tomorrow, I'ma call it a night for now. There are no changes to any files I'll need to make? 

When I downloaded this game initially it took... probably around ten hours on Internet that is normally really fast. Would i be looking at another long download time like that again or should a non-streaming download be faster?
