my frustration has died down since yesterday the dark side has no hold on me just yet. Ive sent an email early this morning with overwhelming proof im sure this should all be sorted it out at some point this afternoon ill update when I hear more.

just a quick update.. ive finally got back into my old account while frustrating and true I had no help from the telephone helpline kinda refused to help me if im honest. I did however receive a lot more help from EA help experience they sorted everything out for me after I emailed them I highly recommend contacting EA this way to anyone who has/had the same problem as me.

well here I am back again managed to sort my ea account out all my games on origin are back including my swtor game but it seems ea and swtor.com are no longer linked I tried calling them again and I got the exact same response from the same guy believe it or not he told me my ea account has nothing to do with my swtor account and if you cant access your locked email I will not help you. whats frustrating is when I click swtor customer support it directs me back here to ea.. ea did there bit changing my email but swtor refuses bluntly to do the same. 8 years of building my characters to what they are today all lost through shoddy customer support. the thought of restarting all over again sickens me. today swtor have lost a loyal paying subscriber.

I had a similar experience, was able to get help from EA easily, but swtor cs simply won't budge.
It is odd, swtor have this extreme policy that prevents players from accessing their own account.
As the email addresses in question can never be accessed by anyone, so too the swtor accounts can never be accessed by anyone.
The irony is, that it's people who actually want to re-subscribe to the game that are affected by this.

Update guys i managed to call customer support and spoke to a different person who was very helpful at first he was cagey about helping me as locked emails they dont usually help with but he must of gone to his supervisor and then we went through the security questions i put on 8 years ago 🤐 that was tough remembering where i ordered my food from back in 2011 but im back in and finally all updated. dont give up guys there are still some good cs reps out there who are willing to help :eahigh_file:
