If it has been over a year , a quick 5 - 10 minute phone call to CS (Link to numbers) will resolve the issue for you
The irony of this whole thing is that to avoid having to use One Time Password it is recommended to use the Authenticator App on your mobile phone. The problem with setting up the authenticator, you need to use a One Time Password to activate it. Ridiculous.
It's 2018, every website that I need to request a new password from will get me an email within a minute, if not seconds. Also, almost every single website out there uses Two-factor authentication through text messages to your phone; And you receive them within seconds.
Time to get with the times Bioware.

@Vergobret The current delays with One Time Passwords has been raised and we're currently investigating. In the meantime you can call in and our account & billing guys can help you get logged in and attach the key.
EDIT: OTP delays should now be resolved.

@EA_Kipling: "EDIT: OTP delays should now be resolved." Please edit again, is not being solved.
Also please read you post as a customer to see how stupid it sounds. It's 2AM and all I want is to spend about 2 hours playing swtor so calling customer support it is about the most stupid idea ever.
I hope next time when you take a buss or go to a movie to find the doors shut and get as advice to call customer service to get the door open so you can enjoy the service you already paid for.
The "solved OTP delay" is that I get the mail after more than 1 hour which makes it useless since the session of the game login have a TTL of 15 minEdit: forgot to mention: this is the second day in a row when I can't log in to the game

Nice idea for contacting customer service in the USA but if your in a different country it can be expensive and time delay is fun as well. It would be 1am in the morning for me to contact customer service during business hours. Unfortunately the one-time passwords still don't work or is it only for the Overseas subscribers that your trying to annoy? Does the US players get first preference?

Nope, better luck next time. Still delays for Hotmail.

Hotmail, Gmail, doesn't matter. The mail server that's suppose to send emails is broken just like customer support.
Does EA realize that each player who can't log in will play something else? Is that the plan to increase the players count by keeping them away?
for EA: lock the door for that idiot who decided to reduce the bandwidth of servers in order to reduce the cost (assuming there is any one left in EA to read this forum).
